Hanging Coffee Mug and K Cup Storage

Declutter your cabinets and counter top with this easy diy coffee mug and k cup holder. The only thing I purchased were the hooks from hobby lobby for about $2 each. The wood is from a pallet I got free from work.
I removed 2 planks from a pallet, sanded them and put them together. I attached 3 pieces cut to size along the back and used a brad nailer and wood glue to mount them together.
Next I made 2 boxes, 5" x 10" with the back open. I used wood glue and brad nails to put it together. I then measured where I would drill the holes. I used a 2" hole saw and an 18v drill.
I then took a map gas torch and scorched the wood to bring out the natural grains. I painted the front of the k cup storage a mocha color. When it dried, I attached it with wood glue and Brad nails to the 2 planks.
After a coat of satin poly, I attached the hooks.
I attached 2 keyhole hangers on the back for easy hanging. Easy as that!

What is a brad nail? Very innovative and cute, by the way!
