Growing Morning Glories
by

Last year I planted a packet of morning glory seeds. They came back this year. And they are so beautiful. Passion vine and morning glories have taken over this fence. I haven't lived here quite two years, but these seem firmly established. A ceramic sun is peeding through the leaves.

I pull out the Morning Glories every fall and the next spring the seeds that remained on the ground start growing and I train the plants to grow up the pergola. Free plants every year and that's in Ottawa, Canada.

Same in Texas. I had planted "Grandpa Ott" a variety that was almost extinct but never experienced the same problem with "Heavenly Blue". The "blues are much harder to grow in Texas.
