Reusing Jars for Bulk Food Storage

Once I got rid of my Tupperware, I had to find something to store my leftovers and bulk food purchases in. Spaghetti sauce jars, pickle jars, and peanut butter jars to the rescue!
Plastic containers hold bulk-purchased oats, homemade rice-a-roni mix, bulk pasta, and cornmeal.
Glass jars hold yeast (stored in the freezer), beans, popcorn, and homemade breadcrumbs (also stored in the freezer).

I was wondering, can you do something with the tops to make them uniform in color? Spray paint? just curious, because I have been thinking of doing this also
