Name of My Hydrangea Plant

When I bought this, the only description was: #10 Hydrangea. I especially like how the little flowerettes open and look like tiny individual flowers? Can you help me identify it? It is Pink now but the instructions say to add acid to make it blue. It has been blooming for months and as I cut back the spent blossoms, more grow and bloom. Thanks for any help. starkeeper

This is absolutely gorgeous! check out this link and it will give you guidance if you really want to change the color. from the way it looks it is a purple which if you are under Oaks or Pines could keep changing to blue as the hydrangea grows. you could also get a soil test for your soil-changing the color is not an overnight thing and is advisable in the spring. but i see your hydrangea looks as if it is already changing to blue. I have 3 I just planted and one is pink the middle is purple and the end is blue. I love it. I just let nature take its course and of course I live under 50+ Oaks so the soil closest to the trees is great for turning my hydrangeas blue. Like very much, thanks to all who did the research, I had never seen one like this before. But will be checking it out for sure. I have a neighbor who had a lace cap which is beautiful and she wanted to know how to change it so it looked like mine. I told her I don't think you can it is just a different variety. Beautiful in blue.
