Any ideas about this mirror and how much it could worth?

We got this mirror with the house. We took it off as we had to raise to raise our fireplace mantel and mirror was huge and high for our place anyway. We want to sell it. Does anyone has any idea of the value of it? It is around 4.5 feet wide by 5 feet high. It is at least 70 years old, but could be much older.

I love this mirror. It does need a little tlc, but I would love to have it, I'm afraid you would want more than I could afford.

Hello Elena! The mirror is beautiful. It is not easy by just seeing a photo what it's value might be. I would suggest taking it to an antique dealer for an idea...keeping in mind the dealer will probably quote lower. The material it's made from, damages, etc. will all play a part in that value. Good luck with it!

I can not imagine the cost of the shipping for it. Me and my husband had hard time lifting it. It is super heavy. And yes it is wood with plaster.

Check Ebay for similar mirror and you might get an idea what other people are asking. Or take an afternoon off and go to a few antique stores and maybe find a like mirror. (:>)

Elena...asked a friend who knows more about antiques. If perfect it could fetch a few hundreds dollars. Damage of any type reduces the price. You'll probably need to post it and find someone who loves it!

Is it currently sitting on a dresser? If so, it looks great. Why sell, when you can have something so unique. Never mind style fit for your home. Eclectic is OK.
