How can I remove rust from stainless steel doors?

I need to remove small patches of rust (looks like same splash or dots) from stainless steel doors. Any ideas?

  • If the stainless is brushed finish use a 000 stainless steel wool and rub in the direction of the brushed finish, that should remove any stains.

    Woodbridge is right using stainless steel wool is how you remove rust. Coke has some kind of acid and it can cause corrosion and white spots it might make the problem worse.

    LOL......be careful....REAL Stainless Steel does not rust. Use the 000 stainless steel wool pads as Bob suggests, but rub VERY lightly... Good luck Gary

    I've tried everything to get the glue off of my freezer outer section, to no avail, considering buying some pvr to see it that will work. Fridge is 3 years old, and I hadn't noticed that the plastic protector film was still on, when I pulled it off, it came away, but the glue stayed, it looks horrible, but so far no luck! wish Samsung would tell you what to use
