Actias Luna or Luna Moth: one of the largest moths in North America. Finding one on my Arborvitae this morning makes my day!
I had to move the branches to get a better pic and he moved. They are night time moths.
Isn't this just beautiful?!

Thanks everyone. I love to take pics of "happenings" in my yard. and as for the Luna moth, I had to move the branch to get a better pic and he moved and spread out even more. Heft a little while later (or at least I hope so and my animals did not have a treat).
