Our foyer was entirely beige when we first moved in. I wanted a fun, bold, vibrant, and welcoming foyer instead. Therefore, I painted the walls bright yellow, painted the ceiling brown, installed crown molding and board and batten, painted the door, replaced brass door knobs with oil rubbed bronze, and installed track lighting. All DIY. I feel that now the foyer is more of an actual room than a mere entryway.
