Kindly check this kitchen hood picture. Cooking oil caught fire last night, and here's the damage. Kindly suggest something for cleaning it.

Greased lightning, I get it at home depot. The panels will need to be completely submerged, so either a large sink, or bath tub, etc. In a kitchen sink I use about 2 cups of the GL and fill the rest with water. It would be the same in the tub. It took burnt on scorch marks off of my outlet covers.

If it's not removable, I would try Krud Kutter, also at Home Depot. You may also try a mechanic's hand cleaner.

If those are the mesh vents they can be removed. I have run mine through the dishwasher. It may discolor if they are aluminum. If they won't clean up you may be able to buy replacement parts. Good luck!

If after the appliances are clean and you still have the smoke odor, try ODO-BAN. It works.
