Luis on Aug 23, 2013Got this fromE-How, maybe will work for you too Warm water and 2tbsp. of liquid dish soap, wet the with water from a garden hose. Dip a spongeinto the bucket of soapy water and wipe over the hood of the car. Rubvigorously to remove any dirt and grime from the surface. Rinse the soap from the hood of the car. Dry the entire car with soft cloths. Fill aspray bottle halfway with white vinegar. Finish filling the bottle with coolwater.Spray water marks left on the paint or windows with the vinegarsolution. Allow the vinegar to penetrate the marks for one minute. Rub themarks from the car with a damp sponge.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Aug 25, 2013My new truck a few years ago had the same issue. The glass on the sides were a mess. I tried everything to clean and it simply would not come off. The finish also had the same issue. I used a white polishing compound and that was the only thing that took the water stains off of my finish. A auto detailer can help you out with this.Helpful Reply

Francine C on Aug 25, 2013I work for a car dealership and we get this question alot. We suggest to wax the new cars at least twice a year (the more, the better). Even though the new cars have the clear coat on them, they still get the mineral deposits from the water.Helpful Reply

WebbRowan on May 03, 2016Just remember to park the car somewhere out of the way of the sprinklers if you can after you get the spots off I think! If you're going to break out the finances to get it fixed, you'd better do your best to make sure things stay clean!Helpful Reply
