I fell in love with some stones that I found in my holiday in Greece and I turned them into my canvas. The whitest marble in the world is in Greece, and I took some of it back home with me.
Somebody has to stop me: I love doodling on stone and I can't stop from doing it!
Use stones that have a shiny look, as they are easier to draw on.
Use green, blue, red, purple and orange sharpie to draw flowers and swirls. Let your imagination fly, and use the nature around you for inspiration.

For drawing mandalas, you need a pen that draws a thinner line to aquire a more polished look.
In the end, apply coat of varnish to protect colors from fading.
Check the link to my blog below for tricks on doodling on stone and many more pictures of my artwork!

I MUST try these! I've painted rocks, but haven't tried the swirly, dot, mandala designs yet. Yours are SO gorgeous. And what a nice way to reflect back on your trip. Thanks
