How to Make a Dum Dums Wrapper Wreath

This easy DIY wreath is sweet and simple! The hardest part is unwrapping all the Dum Dums without eating them!

The supplies you need are the wrappers, straight pins and a wreath form. You can make your own wreath form or find an inexpensive one at the dollar store.

Start by unwrapping and flattening out the wrappers. You will need to determine if you want to pin on the colored side or the "white" side. Really just depends on your preference, but good to stay consistent.

Then take a straight pin and pin through the center of the wrapper onto the wreath form. Be sure not to press too hard on the pin, or it will go through the paper. I suggest using some pins with pearl heads, they are better for not ripping through the paper.

Continue the pinning process by slightly offsetting each pin. I realized it took more wrappers than I had anticipated. So picking the smaller wreath size is best for this project.

Finally, take some scrap ribbon and wrap it around the top of the wreath. If you run out of wrappers, you can also make this ribbon portion wider to make up for the wrappers.

And there you have it! A sweet wreath perfect for spring or celebrations. My kids also enjoyed helping me "prep" this project. ;)
