The beetles are not beneficial, the wasp in the last one is beneficial. I don't remember where I read about those beetles, but I do remember them!

Many caterpillars change into moths and butterflies but can defoliate plants (tomato, etc.). They beetles look like squash or cucumber beeltes. They lay eggs that form into larva that bore into the stem of the plants causing plant death.
