Two-Toned Antique Dresser

I loved the wood grain on the drawers and wanted to preserve them the best I could. I knew from the very beginning that I was not going to paint them. After I removed the hardware and gave the drawers a good cleaning I wiped them down with some Howard's Restor-A-Finish. I continue to be impressed with this product!
I painted the base of the dresser with a really deep cream color that I had on hand. and lightly distressed to show off the fantastic feet. By the way, I'm completely in love with the cream colored paint selections by Valspar lately.

Lastly, I finished off the piece with the most spectacular glass hardware I have ever seen. Seriously love these and they are my favorite! They are so intricate and well made! I think they are the perfect finish to this dresser. You can find them at D. Lawless Hardware. And, they are only $1.96 a knob. Pretty amazing right!
