DIY Pumpkin Decor

Barn Tree Place
by Barn Tree Place
With the holidays soon approaching, you may be thinking of a few projects to tackle. These darling pumpkins were made using Dryer Vent. They are so cute to decorate your home with or give to your friends, family or as a Thank you gift.
Materials:

Dryer Vent Hose

Scissors

Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks

Spray Paint

Cinnamon Sticks or Twigs

Floral Moss (Spanish)

Ribbon / Raffia

Embellishments

Cut the dryer vent hose approx 22"-24" long. Form a circle and use the hot glue to secure.

Completely spray paint your pumpkins in any color you like.

**I created a "Laundry Line" in a safe area of my side yard that I just threaded the rope through the pumpkins and painted as they hung. Worked out great!**
Once your pumpkins are dry, it's time to embellish.

There are so many darling embellishments this time of the year that you can purchase at most craft stores.
Of course, I love the natural / rustic look, so I wanted some to have more nature elements. We cut pine cones into flowers and placed some on top of the pumpkin. You can always use silk flowers too.
We hope that you like this easy DIY.

Please view our website for the full instructions and other links to how we cut our pine cones into flowers.

Happy Crafting!

What sort of dryer vent hose did you use? The stuff I was at Lowe's wasn't flexible enough to come around in a circle.

Such a cute idea, thanks for sharing . I saw some dryer vent tubing at my local thrift store yesterday. I hope it is still there on Monday.

Thank you Jean. If you have a local Habitat For Humanity ReStore...that's also a good place to look for tubing. Happy Crafting! 😊
