All the different containers we toss in our recycling bin got me to thinking, ”how can we reuse or upcycle the “nice” ones?” So with 5 minutes, sharp scissors and a little tape...we had a solution for all those pens and pencils rolling around in my daughter's desk with this easy DIY project.

5-Minute DIY Storage Solution
Before it was just an empty cookie container headed for the recycling bin. After it's the perfect solution for all those pens and pencils in the desk drawer.
With a pair of extra sharp scirrors cut the strip of tape.
Position the tape so it's smooth and tidy looking.
Cover the lid and continue to trim and trim so it comes on and off nice and easy.
And, viola! An easy upcycle. A Cute and Easy DIY Storage Solution.

    What could you do with the empty powder Tide boxes.
  • Hmm?! You could paint or cover them in cute Duck tape and keep the empty plastic grocery bags from just being throw away. Just one idea. I'm sure there are plenty more.
