Painting my kitchen

William on Aug 31, 2016Any acrylic paint is good for the cabinets. You would have to lightly sand to remove any gloss. Prime with KILZ or BIN, then paint. Rust-Oleum Countertop Coating for the counters at Ace Hardware. The clerks at Ace can also advise you.Helpful Reply

Stephanie Desrosiers-defosses on Aug 31, 2016On the cabinets make sure they are clean of any grease etc. Use Kilz primer before you add paint color. Kilz primer sticks to everything. I used it on my cabinet and it's awesome!Helpful Reply

Stella Love on Sep 01, 2016Chalk paint. You can make your own. As long as you clean well it works great without primer. Then seal with wax. Any other paint and you will have to sand and prime first or the paint will eventually peel off.Helpful Reply
