A Bedroom Gets a Fresh Look: Charlotte's Room Reveal

2 Materials
Charlotte's mom contacted me. She wanted to give her daughter's bedroom a new look. The room's colors and decor were a little too childish for a teenage girl.
Charlotte's furniture was in good shape but rather dark and mature looking - it was her parents original bedroom set when they got married. The set is Broyhill and well worth keeping. It has great detail and hardware and just needed a little love.
Here is the furniture in her newly decorated room! The walls were painted in a pale gray with one accent wall in a light blue.
The lighter walls, creamy white furniture and pop of coral are young and fresh.
The furniture was finished in a custom mix of creamy white paints. The process is detailed here: Charlotte's Bedroom Reveal
The newly painted furniture is light and pretty and adds cottage charm.
What a great new headboard - it ties in perfectly with the furniture.
A close-up of the detail and hardware.
Such a difference in this before and after!
