Painting outdoor furniture with chalk paint

Can I paint the fabric on my deck chairs with chalk paint made from outdoor paint? Like house paint.

Yes but I would still seal it with and out door lacquer or varnish.

I painted the cushions on my patio furniture with chalk paint from Home Depot and so far they have lasted well. They seem to be okay in the rain too. I would not topcoat them with lacquer or varnish.

There is better paint out there for outdoor other than chalk paint. If you spray paint - lots of easy options for outdoor.
