Our iron-clear unit was causing us to get blue-green stains in our bathrooms. It cleaned the sediment out through air compression. We have had a better unit installed but I need to know how to get rid of the blue-green stains it caused. I presume that was what was causing them because we had never had that problem prior to the old unit being installed.

Use CLR if the tubs and sinks are glazed. This will remove most of what your experiencing from the copper stains. Put it in the tub with hot water. You may need a few bottles of the stuff so it is strong enough concentration to eat away the stains. Might even take several hours.
