Down Sized Bar Stools

I have had these oak stools for years. But after we removed windows in the dining area to put in a sliding door, they became a problem. The backs just seemed to be in the way, physically and visually. So my husband got out his Sawzall (sp?) and I got out the staple gun. And this is the result. Not that hard to do, lots of info on upholstering online.
The back made the area narrow and hard to get through
New stools are less cumbersome.
Lots of staples. I used Pleather and it stretches to make a smooth edge.
