I found this clay that works great on all grout without the white fingers. Also works great on stoves, ovens and all countertops without scratching or striping. http://www.myh2oathome.com/shop/productdetail.aspx?prod=6050

this didn't really clean it all that well and I left it on for at least 30 minutes. Not sure what happened?

@Teresa H if you have lots of dirt build up in your grout lines, I would try scrubbing with hot, soapy water. I tried this on another part of my tile and found that it worked well. I hope this helps.

This works great if on a wall or a surface that can be rinsed. I tried it on a floor and it is difficult to get all the baking soda off so it doesn't leave a film. I have dark grout.

I did use this on white tile floor in our bathroom. Some areas were worse than others since my husband has worked in a machine shop for 30+ years. There is no way even his travel shoes did not come home with a dirty oil transfer that was BLACK in places. Mixed up this formula & put it mainly on the grout area, let it sit in one area while moving to another area. After coating the second area I scrubbed the previous area with, yes, an old toothbrush or scrubby bristle brush from the $ store. I have also used HOT water with Ivory soap with fairly good results, but more scrubbing needed. Highly recommend this formula. Odor not harsh as using bleach.

Almost any drugstore or large discount store like Walgreen's, CVS, WalMart, Target, Fred's, etc. Usually packaged in a brown colored bottle as pictured above. Inexpensive, especially if catch on sale or with a store coupon found in store's ads like Walgreen's.

If your grout is not a colored grout, try diluted bleach. Try first in a less-obvious area to see if it works. without removing color. ALWAYS have lots of ventilation when using bleach and NEVER mix with anything except water.
