A Naked Wall Behind Our Bed Needed Something With UMPH!

No way I was going to allow the midnight blue paint on the walls go it alone! It looks like a dark midnight sky, but so empty! I thought, "well, it needs a moon and some stars..." So here's what I did!
Naked, sad wall.
I had some bamboo curtains that were just sitting in the closet. I had bought them years ago at Brylanehome.com - and they are still available, if you're interested. I liked the idea of xmas lights behind them, to look like stars shining out of a window.
I found a nice "twig" -a piece of driftwood purchased at Home Goods for $30 - although I have plenty of driftwood from the beach. And the wonderful FULL MOON in the upper left corner I found at Target in the toy department! It is battery/LED and has a remote control that can cycle through all the moon phases. But of course I love it on "FULL MOON" phase!
We measured the space for the curtain rod to be directly above the bookcase headboard. After hanging the curtain rod and spacing the bamboo curtains properly, we attached clear Command Strip hooks on the wall in a zig-zag fashion. We didn't want it to be in any kind of pattern, as we were aiming for the "natural look" -and then simply placed my "twig" on the headboard in the middle. And altho the picture doesn't show it, we also put a star made out of driftwood on the left of the curtains. We think the finished product is awesome! How do you like it?
