Picture Frames ---> DIY Glass Terrarium

by EngineerMommy
A few weeks ago, Hometalk came over and took a tour of my home! This project was one of the DIYs that was featured! It involves dollar store picture frames! Yes, those plain picture frames that seem simple and boring!
I simply removed the backing and paper.
I used hot glue to form this shape.
Then, I filled it with some moss and a faux plant! I love the way this looks now! It really adds a fun decorative element to my fireplace mantel.

Hi, Great project. I am wondering what did you use for the bottom? The 4 sides are picture glass.

    Thanks,

    M

What plant works best? I have an antique glassed enclosed box with tile bottom my grandmother kept dolls in it and I am horrified by all dolls so I've been trying to find a use for the glass box. Thank you
