DIY Board and Batten

A few weeks ago, Hometalk came to my home for a tour. One of the projects featured was my favorite hallway upgrade: DIY Board and Batten! Well, the tutorial is finally available! Here is how we did it! We started by attaching an MDF strip to the wall (this is the "board" part).
Next, we added wooden lattice strips (this is the "batten" part). I love the way this is coming together already!
We used caulk to fill in gaps and make it look more seamless. Of course, the miter box is your friend during this project- it's important to get neat corners!
After, we just painted the whole thing a bright white.
Here is a view of the other wall! We love the way this came out!
