Anyone have good storage idea's for a small basement suite? PLEASE?

I have a living room/kitchen table area... need to find ideas to make room and liveable. there is only 3 of us.. HELP.

What type of items are you looking to "store" here. Form follows function. Storage for cookbooks can be vastly different than that for pots and pans.
