Hey y'all my friend Evey of Evey's Creations & I will be live on Hometalk's facebook page on Friday 1 pm est. Talking about tips & tricks using TRUE milk paint --->>> http://sweetsongbird.eveyscreations.com/2016/09/tips-and-tricks-for-playing-with-milk.html
Did you know there are many different ways to use milk paint?
You can do a controlled chippy look like Evey did here with this nightstand --->>> http://sweetsongbird.eveyscreations.com/2016/07/farmhouse-fun-nightstand-july-fffc.html
You can also achieve a crackled look like this from Revolutionary Redesigns...
You can even get a beautiful layered look the way J Burns Designs did with this gorgeous cabinet...
Or how about an aged patina look created with the milk paint as a stain that J Burns Designs also created.
I redid this hutch using a custom mix of Tavern Green & Snow White. I used paintable wallpaper on the sides to give it an extra dimension & add to the charm. I painted the milk paint right on that wallpaper. I let the milk paint do it's own thing on the cabinet, letting go of any control. http://www.onfernavenue.com/2015/06/old-hutch-turned-shabby-chic-storage.html
I have also created custom colors using multiple colors from Old Fashioned Milk Paint, like on this bench --->>> http://www.onfernavenue.com/2016/09/turning-bookcase-into-bench-using-old.html
