Fall Front Door Paper Succulent Wreath

It is still really hot here in Houston. To add a little bit of fall to our home, I created a paper succulent wreath using an embroidery hoop. I chose not to use traditional fall colors to help my home decor transition from summer to fall. What do you think? I've created a step-by-step tutorial sharing the process.
Front door styling for fall
I used a paper cutting machine to create the succulent leaves. I then hand folded them while examining real succulents to make sure the curving/folds looked as natural as possible.
Here is an up close photo of the succulents.
It helps to look at real succulents and flowers when you make wreaths.

You can see some of the strings here from the hot glue gun.


Tip: If you run a hot hair dryer over the project when it's finished, the glue strings disappear.
