I took a little contact shelf paper and a giant lazy susan and made my new cabinets pretty much perfect! There's links in my blog post to where I purchased the shelf liner and the lazy susan.

Looks like your kitchen is moving right along DeeDee. I love your choice of liner. I too use Lazy Susan's to keep things organized. They're prefect for small things like spices.

  @DeeDee I used to have a very large Lazy Susan, at least sixteen inches in diameter with a flat area so you could put it a little bit closer to the edge of your cupboard when the door was closed. Now that I've seen yours I'm hoping I come across it someday in storage. There's no way I would have tossed that baby. Long story short, my hubby didn't think it was necessary to follow my idea of an organized move by putting all containers labeled with the same color in rows in the basement for later sorting and moving to their respective rooms. To this day there are many things I have yet to find as I've not had time to go through every box. I'm happy to say that after 33 years he's finally catching the organizing bug. He told me last night on Skype that he ordered some organizational "thing" for us and he knows how happy I'll be when I see it. Ha ha ha. Oh I love that man!

  Thank you @DeeDee. He's not budging on telling me what it is either. I do hope I find the big Lazy Susan. It could come in handy to store small items in the new cabinets we bought for our wood work shop. Maybe we can make a tiered wooden block with holes for storing our router bits.

  @Z I found the metal lazy Susan hardware at the "dump store" years ago, and have had in storage waiting for a good place for it. It's a large one, still in the wrapper. I know that someday I'll find just the right use for it.
