Mid Century Modern Bar From Thrift Store Table

I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited over a project as I am with this Mid-Century Modern Bar using Old Fashioned Milk Paint in Salmon. While this is something I say often, this time I mean it! I picked up this little table for $8 at my favorite thrift store. Can you believe it was only $8? It was in great shape, just a little scratched.
I wanted to go with a bold color and keep the clean lines of this piece. I used this gorgeous Old Fashioned Milk Paint Salmon color that is perfect for this Mid Century piece. I share a full tutorial on my blog and would love if you stop by for a visit. Here is the finished piece:
There are so many cool details to this piece now and you have to check out the story behind the wine rack. Some things are just meant to be! I love putting paper on the sides of drawers and found this cool paper that I added with Mod Podge:
The final surprise is the drawer handle. Can you guess what it is? I had a bottle opener knob from D. Lawless Hardware and thought it would be perfect for this little bar! No more searching for a bottle opener.
