Home Music Studio

My son will start Berklee School of Music Online at the end of the month and his major is Music Production. He needed a studio to get the most out of the classes and help him with the acoustics to record music as well, so we have started turning his bedroom into his studio/bedroom. This is a work in progress, so I will update along the way.
We started with a fresh coat of paint. The tan color covered the red that was on the walls better than I expected.
Next for the trim. My son wanted black for the trim to add contrast and fit better with the dark gray acoustic foam panels that we will use to cover the walls and ceiling.
Here is the foam that will be used in the studio.
Paint and trim are done, now we start pinning the acoustic foam to the walls and ceiling.
I had to make him a light to put outside his door so the rest of the family will know when he is recording so we will be quiet. I used a tap light and cut a vinyl decal to put on it.
Getting closer to the finish.
A little decoration with the scrap pieces, just because.
Now to cover the windows. I used a foam board cut a little smaller than the window opening, then covered with the acoustic foam.
We wedged the foam board inside the window frame and it's done.

Thank you. You can use the photos and just credit the photos to Crafty Things SC. I would love to see the book when you are finished. I will upload some additional photos.

@Cristin Frank yes, that is my craft page on facebook. As my son is getting further along in his classes at Berklee, we are having to adjust some of the items in the studio room to fit his needs. But it is worth it considering how much he is enjoying the room & classes.
