I honestly think it's more than one pattern, or a pattern she just made up. Some of the squares look almost like this square - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crocodile-stitch-afghan-block---dahlia and some look like they are just regular granny squares with a flower tacked on in different places. You might try searching the granny squares on Ravelry.com. I love Ravelry, you can find almost every pattern there.
