Charleston SC Birdhouse Row Just the Beginning

This is my back yard not straight up but quite a slope and a little rocky. The fence holds my bird houses. All the birds have moved out but I had Blue Birds the last few years. I don't think they liked the new houses. I might have to rethink this. I plan on having a multilevel deck built.
I am a collector of my favorite things. I have been picking up bird houses at thrift stores and yard sales for almost 10 years. I decided to paint them like the houses in Charleston, SC. I am not a artist but they are quite colorful.
The Wild Honeysuckle has taken over again, it smells so good but kills everything it wraps itself around. I really do have other plants in there. I am on oxygen 24/7 so the weeds are much faster than me.
Wish I could show all the houses
Cone Flowers also known as Echinacea is a genus, or group of herbaceous flowering plants in the daisy family, These have faded but still very pretty and attract hummingbirds. The best part they come

I collect bird houses too. They all sit on top of my kitchen cupboards. I haven't found the energy to dig the post holes to provide a place for the houses. Maybe 2014 will be the year for this project.

@Libby Yuewhoo It took me a long time to get this done. I cheated had some plastic pipe and connections from a old cat toy and than I used my fence to hold the bird house

Whatever works @Christine. I can't put out feeders in the garden, as we've had a terrible 2 years with a 'vole' problem. They are a form of mouse that likes to dig, but not as big as a mole. I do put plenty of water out. I turn the lid of my 2 composters over and fill them with water. The birds love them. Get everything from tiny sparrows to a family of crows visiting the water to drink or bathe.
