Pantry Makeover

Say goodbye to wire pantry shelving and say hello to new wooden shelves! My dad and I measured, waxed and installed new shelves for my pantry. My storage space now seems endless!
My newly organized pantry might be my favorite room in our house!
My dad cut 3 of these braces for each shelf. I applied Annie Sloan dark wax to all of the wood.
We attached the braces with wood screws to the bottom of the shelves.
We used 12" boards to space the shelves evenly. They were also very helpful in holding the shelf level while we screwed it into the wall.
We screwed the shelf into the wall using the ledge on the top of the shelf.
He even made a rack to hold all of my wraps and baggies!

Love your pantry. Does waxing the wood cause any residue to form? Like when heavy cans or containers sit on it? Does it get sticky? It looks beautiful.

@Lisa I have had no trouble with the wax. There is never any sign of where cans have been and no trouble with sticking. I buffed the wax off very well when I applied it!
