Zinnias in Stan Hywet's Cutting Garden

The summer flowers in the Cutting garden were all in bloom for my visit to Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron, Ohio.
I think a row of these electric orange zinnias next to some purple Russian sage (Perovskia) would be quite exciting for the summer months!
Zinnias in peach, red, orange and yellow fill the Stan Hywet Cutting Garden this month.
The Cutting Garden is just a small piece of the Great Garden; the latter covers three acres.

Love these. My zinnias are my favorites. I save seed from them. I recently had someone tell me when you save the seed from year to year they will eventually go back to all one color. Anyone else had experience with this?

@Wilma Fendrick Unless you grow only one variety of zinnia, they will cross-pollinate. It doesn't mean you'll only have one color, but it does mean you won't necessarily have the colors you had the year before.
