Four Sandpaper Secrets

If you need to smooth some wood, sandpaper is where it's at. But what else can this gritty tool accomplish? All kinds of stuff! Here are four of sandpaper's best kept secret skills: http://bit.ly/1eisTyz
Sharpening Scissors. Dull scissors aren’t very useful. And nothing is more frustrating than trying to get your snip on unsuccessfully. Avoid that problem and get cutting again in no time with some sandpaper.
Defeating Tight Lids. A tightly sealed lid can become more of a workout than a set of dumbbell curls. But a fitness trial may not be what you have in mind when you reach for the pickle jar, so save your arm strength...
Preventing Falls. According to the Home Safety Council, falls are the most common home injury, and stairs create a lot of falls! If your basement or garage stairs are somewhat treacherous, attach sandpaper...
Erasing Grout Stains. If your grout has reached alert-level griminess, your standard grout-cleaning tactics may need some back-up. Sandpaper to the rescue! The abrasiveness of the sandpaper literally rubs surface stains away.

I use sandpaper wrapped around a block of wood to sand my feet, It's fair better than those little things you buy at the drug store. I use whatever grit I have. Medium is probably best though.
