Is it more cost effective to pay for a company to pressure wash my home or buy a pressure washer and do it myself?

    Hi Kinberly,

This really depends on how often you plan on washing your home and if you have any other uses for it. All things being equal on a one time basis, it is usually less expensive to hire somebody over purchasing a power washer of your own. If you have high, hard to reach areas, hiring a professional will be safer.

That really depends on what pressure washer you are going to buy and how you plan on using it (what your are cleaning and how often). A professional pressure washing company spends thousands of dollars on the best equipment. If you are just looking to spray dust off your home and patio, then a consumer pressure washer might be the way to go. If you have tough oil, grease, or paint stains you only need removed once a year or so, consider hiring a company with a hot-water machine. Our power ...»
washers use high-pressure steam at 3,500 psi to clean up the toughest of stains. Get a couple of bids and make sure their operation looks something like this ~> http://www.acmepowerwash.com. Also remember the more powerful the machine, the greater chance for causing damage to your home. The pros are experienced and insured.
