Restore a Mahogany Leather Top Table With Sheet Music

I received this mahogany leather top table several years ago which belonged to my great grandmother. It was in pretty bad shape and I loved it. I knew someday it would be renewed back to its beauty.
First, all the hardware was removed and cleaned. Some of the veneer was coming off and needed to be repaired.
As you can see, the leather top had stains, cuts and a lot of bad areas. It was going to cost several hundred dollars to replace the leather top. But, we decided to cover the top with sheet music from an old Baptist hymnal we had.
After the table was repaired and cleaned, the top edge was spray painted black.
A template was made of the area with the sheet music. Starting around the edge, each page was attached using Mod Podge.
After all the sheet music was on, another coat of Mod Podge was used and then let to dry completely for several days. Then a couple of coats of clear lacquer was applied to the whole table.
The hardware was replaced and a nice piece of glass was laid on the top to protect it. To see more detailed instructions, please click on the link below.

I have this table and I need to remove water stains on the leather and some of the wood.

How do I DIY make it new again?

Tammy a lovely restoration. Thank you for keeping most of the original wood and the save to the top portion is great!

Not at all. I don't want to take away from the original table by painting and covering the

    leather.
