Please describe the BEST way to build and SEAL a totally inground basement in Georgia.

(avoiding ground water seepage and mildew).

    I would line the ground before placing the concrete floor with 2 layers of 6Mil Plastic Sheeting. Be sure to have a key way placed around the edge of slab for the water stop.

    The next day after the slab can be walked on start forming the walls. Keep the area of the wall to floor / water stop clean, Green concrete to green concrete adheres very well.

    forms and patch any areas that did not bond well on the out side. Allow the walls to cure for about 7 days in 60 - 70 deg. temp.

    Then seal it with a layer of Fibered foundation coating. This can be rolled brushed or sprayed. Now you have a water tight basement.
