Identify Fern

Reposting with a new photo Can anyone tell me what kind of fern this is?? It is evergreen and it can handle direct afternoon sun we have discovered since the tree shading had to be removed. We got it on a clearance table 5 yrs ago and it had no odentification just said fern. I live in Seattle zone 8, it hs lived through 2 really harsh for Seattle winters as well, so it very hardy. So far no one even in a garden clib identified correctly, It is about 16" t and 18" w and stays this size, had to cut it back 2 times because of being smashed by the snow and it broke the fronds, other than that it is carefree, there is another fern beside it to the left in photo, the lacy one is the one I need help with

I am certainly not familiar with ferns of the Pacific Northwest, but this article from the Portland Oregonian lists a number of evergreen ferns. Have you checked all of them out? http://blog.oregonlive.com/homesandgardens/2009/08/evergreen_ferns.html

It is a different variety of soft shield fern it is a p. setiferum 'plumoso-densum' "Mossy Soft Shield Fern"
