How to clean gas fireplace window(inside)

-have a gas fireplace and glass is cloudy ...and some of the fire pieces? have fallen off the rocks. Do I have to find the installer to have it done? ..can't see how to get into it and maybe a guarantee will be voided if we try?

I have pulled some of these glass panes on a few of my clients fireplaces. A razor blade and some window cleaner work pretty well. In my real wood stove I will sometime use a "soot and glass cleaner". Gas has an oily base since it is a petro product. I used glass top stove cleaner on mine and it worked. I don't know how built up it is so you may have to repeat it.

Dow dish soap with lemon citrus is excellent to clean its, or any other glass surface.

If you take a photo of your fireplace and then visit a fireplace sales store they ail tell you how to get into the inside. Or if you have the instructions that ame when it was installed it should also show how. You can purchase a product at the fireplace store to clean or try using the cleaner made for glass stove tops. Be sure if you can take the glass panels out to put down a heavy drop cloth or lots and lots of newspaper as it is very messy to clean. And, wear gloves. You can also purchase the stuff they put in the bottom to simulate embers. Good luck
