My plastic shower handle cracked and broke. It was not the original.

My home was built in 1972. I was told it was not the original handle. I have gone to Home Depot & Lowe's to purchase a replacement 3 times, none of them worked. The silver round plate around the handle, says Moen. I haven't used my shower in over a year. Any suggestions?

Is it thru the glass?A place called CRL on line sells that type of pull handle.You will have to visit your local glass shop.They can order it for you.
