Dollar tree glass stones. E 600 adhesive. Follow instructions on glue. Dollar Tree rocks are smaller that would give you a similar look

Plywood cut 4 to 6 inches bigger than your mirror, use a mirror mastic on the back or your mirror and one the plywood. Use the mastic up and down on one the mirror then side to side one the plywood. With the mirror being a 5$ one, you can use a 1/4 inch thick piece of plywood. But make sure you mark where your mirror will be placed. Once you have the mastic one both, put them together and move the mirror in little small circles to make sure the mastic goes all over both the mirror and plywood. Then pull them apart carefully so you don't break the mirror. Give it a few seconds then put them back together and where your marks are. Let it dry over night. Then you can glue your gems on. Make sure you use E6000. Let them dry over night. Then prop it up on your wall. Good Luck Sweetie.

You can never go wrong with E6000 glue if you don't want them to come off.

You might find a frame or build one and paint it black.

Get a price of plywood cut to size you want then buy. Bags of gems in color(s) would want. Figure out how you want them spaced and use E6000 to place a dot of glue then place your gems on till done. Don't forget to finish you plywood first.
