Old Deck Recycled Into a Garden Shed

This shed was reincarnated from a large poorly built deck I deconstructed. The floor joists are all from the old deck, as are the deck boards--just flipped--weathered side down. The roof support brackets I made are repurposed deck posts. The windows and trim were salvaged from other buildings too. The beaded board and some other components were leftover from other projects.
Sheds are good places to use materials that might not be nice enough for other purposes. Though in this case, a friend told me he would like to live in this shed, so I guess it turned out pretty nice. I think the old materials impart a vintage look, so it fits right in with the gentrifying homes in the neighborhood.

Half our deck is exposed, the other half, covered. We've been talking about ripping up the part that's damaged by the elements. And I need a garden shed! TY! Adding to his honey do list. :)
