Would it be better to contract one of the BIG BOX stores to handle everything or seek separate contactors for flooring, cabinets, counters, lighting, and appliances? What do you recommend?
It certainly is easier to have one of the big box stores handle it for you and it brings a greater sense of security. plenty of smaller companies that can handle the entire thing for you. If they can not take on a specific task, they usually have contacts with other tradespersons that can help them out.
Thanks! I'll be going to the Atlanta Home Show this weekend to get some leads on kitchen remodeling contractors that can give me a quote on handling the complete job.
It's probably easier to get references from separate contractors than the Big Box Stores. And at least It will help me compare their prices to that of the Big Box Stores.
