Put the round up out now. The weeds and the poison ivy both are young and will take the poison up more easily. Put it out on the poison ivy and wait a week, then put on long pants, a long sleeve shirt, socks, gloves, and boots and use a weed eater to knock down the ivy. Then put the Round up back out. Be sure to bleach the clothes you wear when you weed eat.
