How do you determine what kind of flower grow from what kind of bulbs? When I moved to this house the flower beds had so many bulbs in them and I didn't know how to mark them. I have Red Surprise Spider Lilies now, but didn't mark the pink ones when they were up. I have several Iris', but wondered how you can determine the color from the bulb. Any help would be appreciated. :-)
    • @Susan Barnett Unfortunately there is really no way to tell the colour of the bloom from the bulb. You can tell the difference between different bulbs, corms, tuber, etc but you will have to wait for the flower to come up and then label it. Or just enjoy the surprise!

Love the idea of dressing up the containers during the wait.
