No Place Like Home Fall Home Tour

Hey friends! Today is an exciting day because I'm here today to share my Fall Home Tour with you! But not only my home tour, I have teamed up with six wonderfully talented bloggers and we are all sharing our Fall home tours today. I probably shared more pictures of my home in this tour than I have ever shared, so I would love for you to stop by to see the rest- this post is just a snippet from the tour on my blog. My Fall home is full of DIY projects and thrifted items.
I always seem to struggle with the pillows for this sofa, but I am loving the dusty rose and rust I recently added to the mix. I also added the leopard print one you see tucked in there. I have one more pillow I ordered that still has not arrived, but I think it will add the perfect touch!
If you are new to my blog, we live in a split level home that was built in 1996. We have lived here for 4 years, and we are slowly but surely updating and renovating, and making this home ours. And we have done it all on a pretty tight budget. I love to scour around at thrift stores and yard sales, it is one of my favorite things to do and I love sharing with people how they can make their home something special with not a lot of money. Welcome to my entryway! My daughter Delaney and Mr. 8 Year Old made me this Fall sign for my birthday. I just love it!
My fireplace with the DIY AirStone surround and the rustic barn beam mantle is one of my favorite DIY projects to date and made a huge impact in changing the look and feel in our home. It was originally just a black box in the wall, not even a mantle. My collection of vintage suitcases is one of my favorite things in the room. I bought the vintage tennis racket at a yard sale, and I recently purchased this curled wood wreath, and I love the way it looks hanging from the tennis racket.
This is my dining room/office. This room has changed a lot since we moved in. the area rug is new and this is the first time I have shown it on the blog. The chandelier was a $15 yard sale find that I spray painted. Love love love it! My centerpiece is one of my favorite Fall creations this year.
LC brought these vintage scales home to me from Mayberry Days in NC. He and his father have traveled there many times, and they are Andy Griffith nuts. Andy is literally watched in our house on a daily basis, and I am not teasing about that! The little copper wire basket is an Anthropologie find from our trip to LA, and it is perfect for fresh fruit! I hope you enjoyed seeing a snippet of my Fall Tour! Click here to see the full tour!
