What happened to my elephant ears?
I have had this elephant ear for 10 yrs. This is the first year it has huge leaves & blooms these flowers. They look like yellow bleeding hearts . WHY & what happened?

Most plants will send out their flower heads when they have either reached a certain age or they become pot bound or there is no more room to spread out and multiply in the garden space.

Depends on the weather and some plants don't flower for years! This was your year! Enjoy !
