How to turn wood to distressed wood
I want to build a dresser in to a bar with distressed wood.

Go to a Habitat for Humanity Restore and find old/reclaimed wood and use it instead of buying new wood. Then you can sand (lightly), stain or paint how you choose, not spend as much money and help save the environment (a little)! Have fun and post a photo!

Depends on "Your" definition of Distressed. You can take a screwdriver, hammer, a file, a dog chain, an logging chain and hit it until you get your desired affect.
